Nepal lost to Sri Lanka development team in a practice match

Kathmandu. The Nepali team, which is preparing for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024, was defeated in a practice match in Sri Lanka. Nepal was defeated by 33 runs in the match against Sri Lanka development team on Tuesday.

Ruvina Chhetri contributed 17 runs and Sita Ranamargar contributed 11 runs for Nepal. Devami Vihanga of the development team took 3 wickets in bowling.

Before that, the development team, who batted first, scored 118 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Dulani and Nuthianga of the development team added 27-27 runs. In bowling, Savanam Rai of Nepal took 3 wickets and Rajmati Airi took 1 wicket.

Nepal is in Group ‘A’ of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup cricket starting on July 19. India, Pakistan and UAE are in Nepal’s group. Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand. Nepal will play the first match against UAE on July 19.
