Nepal Secures Dominant Victory Over Bhutan in Kho Kho World Cup

Kathmandu – Nepal’s women’s team started their Kho Kho World Cup campaign with a commanding win, defeating Bhutan 93–24 in their opening match of the tournament held in India. Nepal’s Manmati Dhami was declared the Player of the Match for her exceptional performance.

Led by captain Saraswati Kathayat, the Nepalese women’s team will face Germany later today at 4:15 PM Nepali time. Nepal is placed in Group C alongside Bhutan, Germany, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

The team is scheduled to play against Sri Lanka tomorrow and Bangladesh on Thursday. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, in the men’s competition, Nepal, competing in Group A, faced a narrow defeat against host nation India, losing 42–37 in their opening match. The men’s team will play their second match against Peru this evening at 6:45 PM.
