APF Clinches Fourth Consecutive Women’s Football League Title Unbeaten

  • Kathmandu – Nepal APF Football Club has secured the title of the ANFA Women’s League 2081, maintaining its dominance for the fourth consecutive time.

    In the final held at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday, APF defeated Nepal Police Club 4-0 to claim the championship.

    All four goals for APF came in the second half. Sabita Rana Magar netted twice, scoring in the 64th and 83rd minutes. Saru Limbu doubled APF’s lead in the 69th minute, while veteran player Anu Lama sealed the victory with a goal in injury time (90+5). This match marked Anu Lama’s final domestic football appearance.

    The league was played in three phases, with five teams competing in the final stage. The top four teams advanced to the playoffs, which included two qualifiers and an eliminator match.

    APF remained unbeaten throughout the league on its way to the championship. This marks APF’s sixth league title overall and the fourth consecutive win since 2017-18.
