Liverpool Extends Lead to 16 Points in EPL
Kathmandu – Liverpool secured a 3-1 victory over Southampton in the English Premier League (EPL) at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah scored twice, while Darwin Núñez added another goal for Liverpool. Southampton’s Will Smallbone managed to pull one back for his team.
With this win, Liverpool has extended its lead over second-placed Arsenal to 16 points. Liverpool now has 70 points from 29 matches, while Arsenal has 54 points from 27 matches.
In other EPL matches, Nottingham Forest defeated Manchester City, Crystal Palace overcame Ipswich Town, and Aston Villa edged past Brentford, all with a 1-0 scoreline. Meanwhile, Brighton secured a 2-1 win against Fulham, while Wolves and Everton played out a 1-1 draw.
Liverpool’s impressive form continues, strengthening their position at the top of the table.
