Australian Matt Ross Appointed Head Coach of Nepal National Football Team

Kathmandu – The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has officially appointed Matt Ross from Australia as the new head coach of the Nepal men’s national football team. ANFA confirmed that Ross has been given a one-year contract.

The agreement was signed by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai on behalf of the association. The appointment comes just three weeks before the start of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Although officially announced today, Ross had already been in Nepal for some time. ANFA had opened applications for the head coach position nearly four months ago.
