FIFA Rankings: Nepal Women’s Football Team Moves Up Four Spots

Kathmandu – Nepal’s women’s national football team has climbed four places in the latest FIFA rankings, reaching the 99th position, as per the new rankings published today. Previously, Nepal was ranked 103rd.

In Asia, Nepal holds the 19th spot, while in South Asia (SAFF), it remains the second-best team, behind India, which is ranked 69th in the world. Bhutan has also improved by one place, now standing at 171st.

The top four positions in the global rankings remain unchanged. The United States continues to lead at No. 1, followed by Spain (2nd), Germany (3rd), and England (4th). Japan has entered the top five, climbing three places. Sweden, Canada, and Brazil have dropped one place each to 6th, 7th, and 8th, respectively. North Korea is now 9th, while the Netherlands secures the 10th position.
