India and Australia Face Off in Champions Trophy Semifinal

Kathmandu – India and Australia are set to clash in the first semifinal of the ICC Champions Trophy today.

The match will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and is scheduled to begin at 2:45 PM Nepal time. In the second semifinal, New Zealand and South Africa will compete tomorrow in Lahore, Pakistan, for a spot in the final.

India advanced to the semifinals as the winner of Group A, with South Africa finishing as the runner-up. From Group B, South Africa topped the standings, while Australia secured the second semifinal spot as the runner-up.

A total of eight teams participated in the tournament. Bangladesh and Pakistan were eliminated from Group A, while England and Afghanistan failed to progress from Group B.

The Champions Trophy final is scheduled for March 9. If India reaches the final, it will be held in Dubai; otherwise, it will take place in Pakistan.
