India Secures Second Consecutive Win in Champions Trophy, Defeats Pakistan by 6 Wickets
Kathmandu – India clinched its second consecutive victory in the Champions Trophy by defeating Pakistan by 6 wickets.
In yesterday’s match, India chased down the target of 242 runs set by Pakistan in 42.3 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process.
Virat Kohli was the star performer for India, scoring an unbeaten 100 runs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 2 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah grabbed 1 wicket each.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan was bowled out for 241 runs in 49.4 overs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Saud Shakeel was the top scorer for Pakistan with 62 runs. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets, Hardik Pandya claimed 2, and Harshit Rana, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja picked up 1 wicket each.
India‘s matches are being played in the UAE as they refused to travel to Pakistan. In their previous match, India also defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets.
