Nepali Senior Men’s Team to Play T20I Series Against Test Nation in UAE

Kathmandu – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled its annual calendar for 2025, outlining the schedule for Nepal’s senior men’s, women’s, and age-group teams across various international and domestic competitions.

According to the calendar, Nepal’s senior men’s team will participate in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, a T20I international series, and a One Day International (ODI) series.

Additionally, the men’s team will face a Test-playing nation in a T20 International series in the UAE in September. Following this series, Nepal will head to Oman for the ICC T20 World Cup qualifiers.

Similarly, the senior women’s team will play the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in Thailand from May 7 to 21, followed by the Emerging Teams Asia Cup in June.

The U-19 men’s team is set to compete in the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifier from April 12 to 28, along with the ACC Premier Cup and the ACC U-19 Asia Cup. Meanwhile, the U-19 women’s team will tour Malaysia in July.

The calendar also includes tournaments for the U-16 team. On the domestic front, the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will take place in November, with a mini-auction scheduled for August.
