Gold Price Surges Past Rs 205,000 Per Tola, Silver Also at Record High
KATHMANDU — Gold and silver prices in Nepal continue to climb to record highs, with both metals setting new benchmarks today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold jumped by Rs 1,700 in a single day to reach Rs 205,300 per tola on Sunday. The previous day, gold was priced at Rs 203,600 per tola, while on Friday it stood at Rs 200,600.
Silver also hit an all-time high, rising by Rs 45 per tola to Rs 2,470. On Saturday, silver was priced at Rs 2,425 per tola, and Rs 2,360 on Friday.
